Performing in her blood !
Jacqui Alexander is the daughter of Alexander Witkin (2 February 1907 – 17 December 1961), who performed as Afrique. He began life in South Africa and as a singer and impressionist he became a famous in his homeland and then conquered Britain and the USA in the 1930's & 1940's. He appeared in many Pathe news reels during the war impersonating and singing to boost the moral of those fighting.






Meet Jacqui !
Jacqui lives in central London and when not performing she enjoys exercising at The Mayfair Vigin Active Gym where she takes daily classes in Pilates and Yoga. She enjoys walking in Hyde Park where she walks with Poppy a 7 year old miniature Dachshund.
She is a keen reader and goes to the Theatre and Cinema whenever something arises which inspires her!
Jacqui is also a member of the Royal Theatrical Fund Choir who perform concerts to raise money on behalf go the fund .
